Maintenance, cleaning and repacking day. Fred checked and cleaned and adjusted the brakes. He also took the front radius arm off for an exploratory look. While it was off, he replaced all the bushes, even though they were by no means wrecked, they were not pristine either (ie they would have lasted – but might as well do them while it was off the vehicle). I made some attempt at removing the dust and grime that has accumulated in everything. Totally unpacked and managed to amalgamate stuff so that we now have one less box. Also repacked and distributed remaining food.

In the evening we went into town in an attempt to find an open cybercafe (most are shut on Sunday). Eventually found one and uploaded the 6MB website update in an hour, despite being frustrated by 3 power failures! Met up with Justin, an English guy on holiday here. Had a very pleasant meal and beers with him. Got some tips on where to go (he’s been here 6 weeks or so and will shortly be departing).
