Up with the dawn chorus to enjoy the cool of the day. We hired bicycles to explore the remaining areas of the park. A very pleasant, although rather bumpy experience. We set a leisurely pace around the wetlands (on banks – not through the water!) and saw many different birds that we could not identify, from storks to kingfishers. We also crossed through the dryer areas of the park – open grassland and some enclosed woodland. We kept ‘bumping into’ two Australian girls, who at one stage had literally bumped into each others bikes. The wheel and mudguard was rather bent!
