Hit the road again.  Drove to Carnarvon.  Road travels through remote sheep country.  Dry and scrubby.  Settled into can park in Carnarvon for website update and vehicle maintenance.  Carnarvon is a reasonable sized coastal town – mainly prawns, tourism and tropical fruit plantations – also provides a centre for the pastoralists.  Helen rang from Perth.  It seems that we have missed her by a little more than a week.  Still, I’m sure we will catch up eventually.  Sounds like she had a good holiday.
