Spent ˝ the day in Geraldton, completeing ‘business’
eg dispatch of Carnet to the RAC, returned forms and payment for 4WD
insurance, checked e-mail etc. Also
did some shopping so we now have a much needed second Esky (we are using
the Fridge in deep freeze mode). We
also bought a b’doong (or is that badung?) – an insulated water
container. Sourced
and fitted new fan belts to replace problem one and spare.
We finally left Geraldton after lunch and made progress in the
direction of Kalbarri.
Travelled up through Southern, coastal section of Kalbarri National Park. Coastal heathland with periodic viewpoints from rugged cliffs. Very scenic, but I think that Fred had one too many cliff top experiences – he only interested at the first one. |
