Day 2 of hike. Explored the other options up the ‘fingers’. Fred called it “fingering”. The main left hand one was beautiful. Sandy floor, closed in sheer cliffs. Palm vegetation throughout. Finished at a pool of rather cold water that disappeared around the corner. The only way through would be to swim – we wimped out!

Completed our exploring and hiked our way back to the world of cups of tea and hot meals! Deregistered from the walk at the Rangers Station and set up camp at Kurrajong campsite.
