Finally left Kununurra.  Drove to the Bungle Bungles, checked in for our 2 day hike and drove down to investigate that end of the Ranges.  Incredible!  The rock formations are beyond description.  Many huge domes like ‘skip’ beehives.  The rock is stripy as a result of a difference in the water retention of the rock layers allowing cyanobacteria to grow in some layers and not others. 

Walked into Cathedral Gorge.  Great! – lets hope tomorrows walk is as good.
