Woke to the sounds of “calls for milking” as Fred calls the loudspeaker call to prayer that issues from every Mosque (first one of the day is about 5am), rolled over and went back to sleep until a reasonable hour. Had leisurely breakfast (functional sustenance – Freds description), copious quantities of tea and set out to explore the town. Found Post office and called home. Good to speak to everyone. Returned to hotel for strategic planning session for onwards journey. Break for chicken kebab lunch and then I set to updating the website again. And that’s where we are right now! About to head off for some more sustenance I should think.
