Still raining!  (and very windy).  Crossed the Seine at the Pont de Normandie.  An impressive structure with views over the salt marshes at the mouth of the Seine in one direction and Le Havre industry and docks in the other. 

Travelled to Amiens.  Got lost around Amiens and ended up on the Peage heading in the wrong direction (my fault).  Had a big argument and took a minor detour – still ended up in St Quentin, which was the original destination.  By this time it was raining again, having paused during the day for blue sky around lunch time.  Travelled long, straight, undulating roads to Charleville-Meziere where we stopped for the night.  Had a rather expensive meal in a US/Canadian theme restaurant “Buffalo Grill”.  Uninspiring but within walking distance.
