Packed up and set off for Czech Republic and Prague.
Still cold and rather foggy.
Stopped at Tulln to see if we could buy a battery charger as ours
has packed up. Nice town
and it had just what we were after. Also bought Fred a (rather late) Christmas present – we saw
a shop selling ‘Swiss Tools’! Fred
needed a new knife – so he now has a very upmarket Victorinox.
We carried on through the fog and eventually came across the Czech border post. We stopped before the border to change some money and buy a motorway pass. This was our first ‘manned’ border crossing. Showed lots of people our passports and were then waved through without hassle or questions. If only all our border crossings are like that. We arrived at the campsite in Prague at 5ish and were apparently the only people staying! |
