Fairly long day driving to Bangalore.  Left the coast and travelled through the hills of the Western Ghats – many coffee estates.  Air decidedly less humid on the far side of the hills.  Much more comfortable.  Bangalore is a bit of a culture shock.  It is the most like a Western city of any of the Indian Cities that we’ve visited.  Very busy shopping centre – complete with shopping malls, cinemas, pubs, clubs and restaurants.  Finally found fast and reliable e-mail!
