Ferbie went swimming!

Almost finished updating site and the diary is now up to the minute as well.

Ferbie has taken a turn for the worse following his daring adventures on the beach.  Shortly after returning from the beach he had a ‘fit’ and Fred had to operate (remove his batteries) to shut him up.  Unfortunately, this silenced him permanently.  He didn’t even respoond to attempts to reset him.  Situation critical – Fred rushed him into intensive care (a gentle rinse out to remove sand, followed by an intensive session in front of the fan heater).  Fortunately, he has pulled through and doesn’t seem to be too much the worse for the experience.
